President of the Jamaica Football Federation, Captain Horace
Burrell has expressed sorrow and dismay at the sudden and untimely
passing of the President of the St Elizabeth Football Association,
Mr. Courtney Brown
Mr. Brown who at the time of his
death was a member of the Board of Directors of the JFF is
characterized by President Burrell as an extremely hard worker who
was passionate about football and led the charge in the
development of the sport in the parish of St. Elizabeth. He truly
gave his all to football in the parish
Mr. Brown was at the offices of
the Federation on Friday afternoon and was making a presentation
to Referees in the parish when he collapsed.
The President of the JFF has
committed the Federation to assist his family in the plans for his
thanksgiving service and in any other way possible.
Captain Burrell wishes to express
on behalf of the entire football fraternity sincerest condolences
to the family, colleagues and friends of Mr. Brown, in
particular his parents
