The FIFA will convene it’s 57th Ordinary Congress May 27 – 31 in Zurich, Switzerland. The Jamaica Football Federation will be represented by President - Crenston Boxhill, General Secretary - Burchell Gibson and Treasurer – Rudolph Speid.

Messrs. Boxhill, Gibson and Speid will leave the island on Saturday, May 26 and return on Friday, June 1.

As a part of this Congress there will be the official inauguration ceremony of the new FIFA Headquarters. FIFA began its moving process in April 2006 and now boasts a spectacular building that will bring all of its employees under the same roof for the first time since the mid-1970s.

FIFA is also making a powerful statement on environmental issues, as the Home of FIFA is a "zero-emission building" thanks to modern technology that uses energy sparingly and renders fossil fuel superfluous.

The new headquarters also feature an artificial football pitch of international dimensions, a training pitch and a beach soccer pitch.
