The National U-23 squad continues
its preparation for the second phase of Olympic qualification by
training at Grand Lido Braco in Trelawny for the next two (2) days
(September 26-27).
The Superclubs Hotel chain has
sponsored the team by providing alternative locations for the team
and Technical Staff. The team was hosted by Breezes Runaway Bay on
Sunday, September 16 after returning from a successful first round
group competition.
While at Grand Lido Braco the
team will stage two (2) training sessions and will also play a
friendly game against a Grand Lido Braco invitational team which
includes players from Premier League teams Village United and Seba
United.
The Federation received word
today that National Senior Team representative, Luton Shelton,
will join the team on October 8. Shelton plays for Sheffield
United in the Coca-Cola Championship in England and is also a
regular starter in the National Senior Team.
