JFF Diciplinary Committee's Findings

The Jamaica Football Federation’s (JFF) Disciplinary Committee had an easy at their latest sitting last week when only three cases were heard.

Among the three players summoned were Tivoli Gardens captain Navion Boyd who faced a charge of breaching Article 41.3.3 (Violent Conduct) for his action during the Digicel Premier League DPL) match between Tivoli Gardens and Sporting Central at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex on December 6, 2009.
Boyd was found guilty of striking an opponent in the face and fined One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) to go with a one-match suspension.

Rivoli United’s defender Fabian Gordon was given a similar fine of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) but suspended for two matches for a breach of Article 41.4 (Abusive Language). Gordon was reported to have directed foul and abusive language at the referee during the DPL match between Rivoli United FC and Humble Lions FC on December 13, 2009 at the Spanish Town Prison Oval.

Arnett Gardens representative Roy Forbes was fined Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and suspended for one match after being found guilty of breaching Articles 28.3.10(U21) (Abusive Language).

It was reported that Forbes directed foul and abusive language at a spectator during the JFF/PLCA National Under-21 League between Arnett Gardens FC and Portmore United FC on December 4, 2009 at the Anthony Spaulding Complex.
