Several first-time invitees called up for Reggae Boyz squad

A number of first-time invitees have been called up by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) to the Reggae Boyz squad as they intensify preparation for the two upcoming games against the United States of America and Honduras next month.

Goalkeeper Nicholas Campbell of the promoted Maverley; defenders Roberto Johnson and Kareem Manning of Portmore United; hard-tackling defender Romaine Breakenridge and holding midfielder Tevin Shaw of Tivoli Gardens are among them.

The Red Stripe Premier League top goal scorer Shamar Nicholson of Boys’ Town with nine goals has been included along with his teammate, Jamiel Hardware, who spent the last few seasons overseas.

The highly thought of Rodave Murray, formerly of Dinthill Technical High School now at of Waterhouse, was also invited along with Jovan East of Portmore United, who scored that wonderful volley against Arnett Gardens last season. Read more
