JFF and PLCA to show disatisfaction with Crime levels

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and the Premier League Clubs Association (PLCA) are horrified and saddened by another report of the wanton slaughter of two more children, babies in fact, and call on all Jamaicans to join in a movement to create greater love and regard for our fellow citizens, brothers and sisters and children in particular.

As a start the players and team officials of all premier League clubs will wear black arm bands and observe a minute silence before the start of every Red Stripe Premier League match until the end of this season. An appropriate announcement will be made before the games start.

Jamaica’s National Senior team, the Reggae Boyz and the national technical staff will also wear black arm bands in their upcoming training sessions.

Parish associations and other league organisers are encouraged to take similar action in their competitions this season.
