CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship

Jamaica’s National Beach Soccer team is preparing to head off to the 2017 CONACACF Beach Soccer Championship to be hosted in Nassau, Bahamas, February 20 – 26, 2017. The Championship will be contested between sixteen teams across four groups. Jamaica is placed in Group A alongside Belize, Guyana and host Bahamas.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the knock-out phase. The eventual Champion and the Runner-up of the competition will join host Bahamas as the three CONCACAF representatives in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2017 to be held in April. In case Bahamas (host of the World Cup) and/or Guadeloupe (Non-FIFA Member) reach the final match, the World Cup spot(s) will be allocated to the next best placed team(s).

Jamaica will play their opening game against Belize on February 20th.

The team which is scheduled to depart on February 18th has been training at Port Royal under the guidance of the Head Coach Andrew Price.

The next training session is scheduled for Friday February 10th at 4:00pm at Port Royal. Please see attached training squad.
