Head Coach, Theodore Whitmore meets with national coaches

National Senior team Head Coach, Theodore Whitmore on Thursday met with coaches from other national teams.

The objective of the meeting which was characterized by very frank and open discussions, was to share his plans for the Senior team for upcoming friendly matches; the Caribbean Cup and the Gold Cup.

Coach Whitmore highlighted objectives of the weekly training camps; the challenges being faced; and his intention to continue giving what was termed a “RAY OF HOPE” to the best of the local based players.

Recommendations were given regarding increasing the number of days of training with the RSPL almost at an end; methods to improve the professionalism of the players; strengthening the relationship between the national technical staff and the premier league clubs and creating improved guidelines for scouts.

In attendance were Director of Football, Vin Blaine; National Youth Coordinator, Wendell Downswell; National Under 17 Coach Andrew Edwards; National Under 15 Coach Aaron Lawrence and members of the technical, managerial and medical staff of the senior team.
