Jamaica’s National Under 15 Boys departed the island at 6:00am today, Friday August 11th to participate in the 2017 CONCACAF Under 15 Boys Championship to be held at the infamous IMG Academy in Florida.

The full delegation which is attached will travel via Miami and is scheduled to reach Tampa at 12:22pm.

Jamaica will play Panama, Honduras, Mexico and Costa Rica. Please note that Honduras topped a field of then 22 teams who participated in the Inaugural Tournament held in the Cayman Islands in 2015.

Jamaica’s team has been in training since March of this year after an island wide scouting exercise by Head Coach Aaron Lawrence and then Youth Coordinator, Wendell Downswell. This scouting exercise was followed by the JFF National Under 15 Parish Competition which allowed the technical staff to see the identified players in active competition.

Please see attached full schedule for the Tournament which begins on August 13 when Jamaica plays Panama.
