Reggae Boyz into High Gear

CONTRIBUTED ARTICLE

Despite the Reggae Boyz’s disappointing display vs Guatemala on Friday night in the Mateo Flores Stadium. Jamaica will be looking to put away the demons of Friday night by convincingly beating Antigua and Barbuda this Tuesday at the Office.

Antigua and Barbuda got eliminated last night after their heartbreaking 2-1 loss to the United States. So they will be coming to Jamaica only playing for pride and in free spirit. Jamaica will be looking to take advantage of that by scoring the goals.

Midfielder Rudolph Austin and Defender Adrian Mariappa who missed last night’s games will be looking to play a major role as they are slowly but surely recovering back from injury. Jamaica has played Antigua 6 times as Jamaica has won 4 times, lost once and drawn once. The last time these teams met was in June this year in St.Johns, Antigua as both teams drew 0-0.

Without a doubt, it’s crunch time for Jamaica and they are bound to deliver. They know what is at stake with fate not in Jamaica’s hands they know that they have no more time to play around.

The potent striking force of Luton Shelton, Omar Cummings, Ryan Johnson, Dane Richards and Kavin Bryan will be looking to bring their sting and venom to give Jamaica a fighting chance.

This scenario will go down to the wire, But Jamaica will be standing high.

Whitmore is the worst tactician, the team lacks imparted knowledge from the coach, his team selection is poor, no Marlon King to finish those poachers goals, that were granted against Guatemala, no Omar Daley, no Jermaine Johnson, no Jamal Campbell-Royce, no Kemar Daley, no creativity none whatsoever, they were given so much space to play and thats the best they could’ve expressed themselves and we wah go World Cup at this pace think again Burrell, think again.
